Wednesdays are hard. The next two days look disastrously
difficult to overcome. So on days as these, humor is our best friend!
Presenting our inspiration for the day. Indian
painter/muralist Nilofer Suleman’s paintings combine kitsch, old-warm charm, and
small-town India replete with its “out-there” characters, innuendo-laced (and misspelled!)
English words, and an amazing contradiction of movement in the stillness of time-stamp.
Today we smile at Capitol Talkies. In front of a kitschy village
theater playing a dubious “Tarzan and the Huntress” - gossipy old ladies, the man with the roving
eye, the preening girls shooting a look at the admirer…many stories abound! And we
always love a good story.
Happy Wednesday!
